Big Chuck and I got our Christmas tree on Saturday, a lovely blue spruce that stands about 8 feet high! Since we will both be in Vienna this year over the holidays we thought it would be fun to try to do a little festive decorating around the flat. Above you can see a little ornament I made out of some branches from the tree and some twine.

The tree really has made it feel more Christmas-y, and the smell takes me back to my childhood when we would always have a real tree at Christmas. We have both remarked that the tree is so lovely on it's own we don't even know if it needs any decorations. We'll see...
