I often make cards for friends and family to celebrate birthdays, holidays, new babies and to give 'just because'. I had been thinking about adding a line of cards to the English Muffin shop for a long time, however every time I would sit down to illustrate notecard designs I would come up empty handed. I felt like I had to re-invent my style in some way in order to make it work for this new product. I guess I had a specific image of what a greeting card should look like stuck somewhere in the cobwebs of my mind. Luckily, Mr. Narwal came along and knew just how to get my creative notecard juices flowing. In one evening the
Arctic Animal Notecards were designed. I love when designs come together so effortlessly, when the animals I illustrate seem to have personalities right away without much meddling on my part. These four arctic friends put a smile on my face, I hope you love them as much as I do!

The
Arctic Animal Notecards are now available in my shop. The cards are printed on 100% recycled paper, the same high quality stock as my other prints and posters. They are A5 (6" x 4" when folded), blank inside and come with a matching envelope. The Narwhal, Polar Bear, Caribou and Orca are the perfect Arctic friends to wish your (south of the Arctic) friends a warm and joyful winter season!
