Some big little news!

Hello Friends!

I guess you can see from the photo that the English Muffin family will be expanding soon! Charles and I are thrilled to share with you that we're having a baby!! Our little "beast" as he likes to call it, as in "we have to feed the beast!" (kinda scary, no?), will be arriving in January 2012. So far I've been feeling great. Being in my second trimester now, I'm getting my energy back and enjoying watching this belly of mine get bigger and bigger what seems like every day!

Phew! It's so nice to finally share the news with you. I'll try to keep you updated on our little boy/girl as we progress, maybe even ask you some of my baby questions - like, to find out the sex or not?!

    congratulations on your growing bump! mine's almost hatched {09/25}, but our first child was a January baby and it's the perfect time to introduce a little one to the fam - snuggles on the couch; bundled brisk walks; snow days in bed... ENJOY!

    Oh, such fantastic news Bess! And what a beautiful photo! We are expecting boy #2 in the next two weeks. This parenting business is the most insanely wonderful, taxing, mad, brilliant head-spinning ride, I highly recommend. I was just thinking of you today in Rudi's room, where his Bess-name graces the wall, that we'll have to order another one soon when we know who we've got here!

    Ya!!! I can now tell you congrats!! If you have any questions, I can help you because i'm in the middle of it too ;) I say figure out the sex, we were very happy to know, we are now in the mind set of having a boy and have been able to get stuff for him that's not just green and yellow. People get on our case for knowing though, "it's the only surprise you get in life" but we thinking just the sight of his face for the first time will be enough of a surprise. Really it's up to you guys.

    yey! congratulations bess- wonderful news. I'm sure you'll be inundated with advice, so I'll put my two cents in now- the best thing anyone told me when I had my little guy was to remember that the days are long but the years fly by, which is so true and helps you get through a lot!
