Things to do in Barcelona

Colmado Quilez

With grey skies outside my window, it's the perfect day to dream of being in warm and sunny Barcelona! We leave for a long weekend in Spain in one week. It's still a weird concept to me, to be traveling to another country for a weekend escape, but I'm not complaining - I love it!

I've been combing the internet for tips on what to see and do (and checking the local weather forecast - should I pack my swimsuit?). If you have any tips on great places to visit, eat or explore, I'd love to hear them. Here are a few enticing architectural pictures I found online.

The Casa Batlló

Crypt at the Colònia Güell

The Palau de la Música Catalana

Park Güell

I also found the NY Times 36 Hours in Barcelona Guide, this should be very helpful seeing as we have only about 72 hours in Spain, and the Urban Junkies Barcelona guide - know any others?
