Out and about
The sun shone for a few moments on Sunday morning, a stark contrast to the wind and rain storm of the previous day, so we decided to take a walk. Actually, we tried to find new places in the first district that we'd never been before, or even better get a little lost. It's pretty hard to get lost in the first as it is surrounded by the "Ringstrasse", which literally means "ring street".
We grabbed some breakfast and headed out to explore a little, we did manage to find some places it was possible one of us hadn't been before. But every day is different, so here's what we found on Sunday morning...
Beethoven's Shop and his house. His house is the one with the red flag.
A cat in a window.
A sign that we both liked for an art studio in the Moelker stairway.
Some horses taking five.
A beautiful open air hallway.
And the corresponding church.
Roses covered in Peruvian coffee bags. Do we think this will alter their smell?
The side view of the Burgtheatre.
An empty streetcar ride back home. We got lazy...
Have a nice Monday :)

The "corresponding church" is Minoritenkirche in Minorenplatz, near the Herrengasse U3 ubahn stop. I always thought it was unique because it has different styles of architecture...
ReplyDeleteYah, it's really funny - almost like they stuck two different churches together. Sometimes I wonder how many churches there are in the inner stadt alone.
ReplyDeleteThe cat is a big boy like Nein.
