On Saturday evening we went out for dinner to celebrate Big Chuck's scholarly achievements. We've been looking for a good Italian restaurant that wasn't too pricey and had a fun vibe and, of course, delicious pizza and pasta. I read about
Il Sestante online, and from the heaps of positive comments, decided we should give it a try.
The pizza was really good. We each ordered one; artichoke with mozzarella, spinach with garlic, and capers and olives with anchovies. yummmm...
It's not a celebration without something sweet. The
tris dolce was a selection of, tiramisu, profiteroles and panna cotta. Also, yummmmm...
Across the street from the restaurant is the
Piaristenkirche, or Piarist chruch, where in the summer
Il Sestante has its outdoor patio. I can't wait to go back on a warm summer evening.
